Down the memory lane, it seems the matter of yesterday, we the little hunks were rocking in the campus of the evergreen NIT(REC), Silchar. But if we start thinking logically, we can very easily assess what seems so near was actually a bit far away. But does that anyway prevent us to get back & retaste the flavour of our earlier lifestyle. I guess, it should not. This was the reason what prompted me to go ahead and organise the first ever Alumni get together of our college, to unfold its Delhi chapter.

First I should be thankful to the idea of Sunil Kr. Muduli (2004 Batch), who recently organised Mumbai edition & in turn inspired me to pitch in for this extravaganza.

So as the idea came to celebrtate this event in Delhi for the people who are available in NCR, first we thought we can arrange only a mere 15-20 people. But as the time progressed, we ended up with 65. All credit goes to Shivabrata Nath (2004 Batch), Supratim Kar (2001 Batch), and Sanjay Kr. Saha (2005 Btach), who could not join us this time, for this huge rush.

The people started gathering well in time, with some people joining late after office hours. The night started on its own tune to revive the old memories of our college life. People came flocking in, responded very well, and then found themselves well into the wild instinct after a couple of pegs down the throat.

Then the introduction phase started, people find themselves back to REC era, questioning the way they used to do while in college (notworthy to mention).

Next the drinks were on again with the DJ started to rock the ambience. The people made the evening vibrant with dancing all the way they could.

The time went passed like a minute & after dinner; people started bidding goodbye to each other before leaving from the premises.

The night offered us all with a memory to cherish throughout whole life.

nice write up !!! and it was a great night too !
You showed great organising skills and there was discipline in the party, I remember how the parties end in REC( forgive me.. but i like to use REC instead of NIT .. old school .. can't help it !!!!)
we wish to see more gatherings like this in future
About the write up : you should have included a report on the dancing skills of NITians !!!!
Cheers

Hey.. do we have any cues on the venue this time or is this a premature question ?
